Don Hudson, 71, of Lewisburg, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at his residence.
A native of Rutherford County, Mr. Hudson was a son of the late Clarence Ivy and Ollie Mildred Epperson Hudson. He was the owner of Hudson Furniture in Lewisburg, a former member of the Lewisburg Kiwanis Club and the Lewisburg Jaycees and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kareen Shaw.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hudson of Lewisburg; four daughters, Vicki Spurlin of Cornersville, Donna Smith of Lewisburg, Connie Reynolds of Lewisburg, and Cindy Thompson of Lewisburg; a son, Donnie Hudson of Lewisburg; a brother, Tony Hudson of the Wheel Community of Bedford County; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Joyce-Epperson Cemetery in Bedford County.
