John Paul Tingler, 54, of Chapel Hill, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in Nashville.
Mr. Tingler was born in Fairfax, Va. and was formerly employed with Cosmolab Inc. He was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. Tingler was preceded in death by his father, Paul Junior Tingler. who died in 1986.
Mr. Tingler is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Tingler of Chapel Hill; sister, Pat (Mike) Counts of Murfreesboro; nephew, Chris (Brooke) Counts of Lexington, Ky.; great-niece, Lauren Counts of Lexington, Ky.; aunt, Joyce Cummings of Spencer, Tenn.; uncle, Earl Harris of Murfreesboro; and several cousins.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 18, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Ledbetter officiating. Burial followed in Middleview Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
