Joy Ann Blalock, 77, of Lewisburg, formerly of Chapel Hill, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in Lewisburg.
Mrs. Blalock was born in Jasper, Ala. She was a homemaker and attended Westvue Church of Christ in Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Addie Birchfield Short.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Blalock of Lewisburg; daughters, Cathey (Buck) Beard of Lewisburg and Jackie (Tommy) Swarthout of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Johnnie Orders of Morganton, N.C. and Linda Pope of Mobile, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Nov. 9, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ron Cline officiating, followed by burial in Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community.
