Sandra Burklin Williams, 68, of College Grove, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Davidson County. She was a homemaker and a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Kenneth Burklin.
She is survived by her mother, Edna Marie Carrington Burklin of Hazel Green, Ala.; daughters, Shannon Takara of Rapid City, S.D. and Clara Williams of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sons, Brian Williams of Hendersonville, Rolland Williams of Franklin, Gamble Williams of McDonough, Ga., and Burk Williams of College Grove; sisters, Janice Nix of Huntsville, Ala. and Jill Taylor of Jackson, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted on Sunday, Oct. 11, at Mrs. Williams' residence.
