Obituary: Steve Reavis

Steve Reavis, 66, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Reavis was a native of Lincoln County. He was a process technician for CK&A, and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Wilson and Lessie Evelyn Solomon Reavis.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Reavis, daughter, Julie (Tim) Murdock, and son, Tommy (Shanna) Reavis, all of Petersburg; siblings, Juanita Bills of Murfreesboro, and Aletha (Terry) Crabtree and Grady (Lorene) Reavis, all of Petersburg; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 26, at the Petersburg First Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Brown and Bro. Aubrey Knois officiating, followed by burial in Unity Cemetery.

Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home assisted the family.
