Mrs. Opal Olene Park, age 97, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at NHC Lewisburg.

Mrs. Park was a native of Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Orville Joseph and Sylvia Etta Haddock Jones. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clift Park; a brother, Clyde Jones; granddaughter, Susan Park, and a grandson, Gary Wesley Park.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice (John) Walker of Lewisburg; three sons: Clyde (Betty) Park of Dublin, Ohio; Gary Park of Columbus, Ohio; and Jimmy (Lynn) Park of Madison, Alabama; two nieces, Sylvia Mudd and Margaret Jones Stelzig and a nephew, Bob Jones all of Louisville, Kentucky. Ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Diana Cemetery.

Visitation with the family was on Saturday from 3 until 5 p.m. and continued on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.
