Robert Louis Tate, 51, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mr. Tate was a native of Marshall County, the son of Robert Lee Tate of Lewisburg, and Iva Nell Wilburn Tate of Lewisburg. He was employed at Calsonic Kansei and was a member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Louis Tate.
He is survived by his son, John Derek Tate of Lewisburg; one sister, Sherry (Ken) Shrum of Murfreesboro; paternal grandmother, Martha Myrena Tate of Lewisburg; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral arrangements were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 9, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
