Roderick "Ra Ra" Maxwell, 37, son of Felix and Teresa Dawson Maxwell of Lewisburg, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.
He was a baptized into the body of Christ. RaRa was educated in Marshall County and was a member of the jazz and marching bands. He had a smile and laugh that would light up a room and he will be missed with loving affection.
In addition to his parents, RaRa is survived by two sisters, Kimberly S. Maxwell and Shameka D. Dawson; grandmother, Mary Maxwell; nine uncles; 13 aunts; and special friend, Brandy Smith.
Visitation will start at noon Friday, Oct. 4, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Lewisburg Family Life Center, Heil Avenue, with Elder Steve Acklin, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
