Ronnie Darnel Chumbley, 63, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, March 16, 2013.
He was a native of Marshall County and a member of Leanna Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for K&R Trucking.
Mr. Chumbley was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Chumbley and Alta Newcome Chumbley; a daughter, Vivian; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Jeremy.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Shapcott Chumbley; children, Robert Paul Chumbley and wife Kathy of Lewisburg, Wade Chumbley of Chapel Hill, Matthew Jason Chumbley of Murfreesboro, and Joseph Allen of Murfreesboro; brothers, J.C. Chumbley Jr. and wife Beth of Chapel Hill, Kenneth Chumbley and wife Sandy of Pulaski, Kirk Chumbley and wife Wendy of Lewisburg, and Chris Chumbley of Pulaski; sisters, Revenus Barnes and husband John of Cornersville and Emily Parson and husband Fred of Lewisburg; and mother-in-law, Linda Shapcott of Murfreesboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, with Steve Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury.
