Ruth Cook, 66, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Alton and Pearl Roberts Baugher. She was a food service employee of the Marshall County School system at MES and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Watkins.
She is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Cook; one son, Eliot (Dana) Cook of Lewisburg; one daughter, Emily (Justin) Cook of College Grove; sisters, Janice Fagan of Ohio, Connie Newman of Lewisburg, and Patsy Potter of Lewisburg; and grandchildren, Jackson Lykins, Emma Lykins, Eli Cook, Stella Cook, Clara Taylor, Colin Taylor, Aaron Gillum, Logan Gillum, Lane Gillum.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. from Church Street Church of Christ with burial to follow in Wilson Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at London Funeral Home from 4 until 6 p.m. and will continue on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church Street Church of Christ Youth Group.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
