Mrs. Sadie Mae Ford Ingram, 89, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Born in Williamson Co., TN, Mrs. Ingram was a daughter of the late Eugene Ford and Myrtle Ivery Ford. She was a homemaker and baby sitter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ingram who died in 2017. Also preceding her in death were two sons, James David Ingram and Eddy Ingram; a sister, Maxine Smithson; a brother, Eugene “Sonny” Ford.
Survived by her children, Alvin (Eva) Ingram of Chapel Hill; Janie Ruth (Joe) Smith of Chapel Hill; Gwen (Phil) Kincaid of the Holts Corner Community; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ingram of Chapel Hill; a sister, Johnnie McCoy of Shelbyville, TN; a brother, Garvin (Nancy) Ford of College Grove; eleven grandchildren, Teva (R.J.) Schillig, Dana Ingram, Chanda (Miguel) Ramirez, Jill (Patrick) McCord, David Ingram, Keith (Natasha) Kincaid, Chris Kincaid, Rodney (Jeannette) Kincaid, Billy Joe Vincent, Brad Vincent and Ira Vincent; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at College Grove Cemetery.
