Mrs. Sara Emma Cox, 85, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Cox was a native of Maury County, the daughter of the late William Arthur and Bonnie Garrett Crabtree. She was a Christian wife and mother and was a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Arthur Crabtree, Jr. and Calvin Bush Crabtree.

She is survived by her husband, James Harrison “Jim” Cox; two daughters, Bonnie (Tony) Freeman of Lewisburg, and Jamie Cox of Florence, AL; one sister, Frances Stone of Wetumpka, AL; three brothers, Joe Crabtree of Franklin, Jim (Sue) Crabtree of Montgomery, AL, and Harold (Carol) Crabtree of Culleoka.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 1, 2019, at 2 p.m. from Haynes Cemetery with burial to follow.

Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, July 1, 2019, from noon until 1:45 p.m. at Symrna Church of Christ.

The family requests no flowers, but rather donations be made to Gospel Track International, 2125 North Center St., Fayetteville, AR 72701 or the charity of your choice.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
