Sharon Laurel Whitaker, age 61, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at her residence.
Ms. Whitaker was a native of Winn, Maine, and the daughter of the late Erwin and Leita E. Granger Bradway. She was also preceded in death by sisters Patty and Gloria, along with a brother, Harry. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Sharon is survived by her son, Lyn (Kendra) Durose of Shelbyville, Tennessee; daughter Kristi Kennan of Schenectacly, New York; brothers Roscoe (Patricia) Bradway, North Creek, New York; Lawrence (Sandy) Bradway, White Hall, New York; David (Mary) Bradway, Pottersville, New York; Erwin (Laura) Bradway, Jr., Walter Bradway and Jesse Bradway, all of North Creek. Other survivors include Jacob DuRose, Dyanna Bharnes, Christoper Kennan, Rayvyn Kennan, Jasdyanna Bharnes, and Gabrielle Bharnes.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with visitation from 2 until 3 p.m.
Interment will be at a later date in Johnsburg, New York.
