Steven Clifton, 59, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mr. Clifton was a native of Giles County, and son of the late Nathan Clark and Joyce Baxter Clifton. He was an employee of the Marshall County Board of Education and worked part-time with Mid TN Sand.
Preceded in death by a son, Steven Brent Clifton, he is survived by his wife, Merica Crabtree Clifton, son, Derek Clifton, and granddaughter, Lilly Clifton, all of Lewisburg; two sisters, Leanne (Paul) Jelonek and Sandra (Jeff) Davis, both of Cornersville; and two brothers, Tracy (Dawn) Clifton of Derby, Kansas, and Tim (Faye) Clifton of Florida.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, from the chapel of London Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, for visitation.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
