Mr. Steven Edward Wilburn, 51, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in Lewisburg, TN. He was a native of Sullivan County, IN, and a son of the late Steve Riley Wilburn and Judy Derryberry Yell, who survives. Mr. Wilburn was a disabled Veteran who served our country in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. Steve was a member of the Church of Christ and the VFW Post #5109 in Lewisburg, TN. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved step-father, Horace Yell.

Mr. Wilburn is survived by his wife, Chastity Lanius Wilburn of Chapel Hill, TN; son, Corbin Lee Wilburn of Chapel Hill, TN; mother, Judy Yell of Lewisburg, TN; sisters, Martina Wilburn Bolanos (Alex) of Smyrna, TN and Stephanie Wilburn Hamilton (Chuck) of Kansas City, KS; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday, June 30, 2019, from noon until 3 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019, from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Leslie Shadrick officiating. Interment followed in Hopper Cemetery near Chapel Hill, TN.

Chris Evans, Steven Evans, Bradley Foster, Shannon Neff, Mike Faulkenberry, and Colby Faulkenberry served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Culbertson, Mike Cagel, Mike Foster, Jimmy Boyce, Lonnie Lanius, and John John Adams.
