William Beasley Whitesell, 69, of Lewisburg, died Thursday night, Dec. 5, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Whitesell was a native of Lubbock, Texas, and was the son of the late Odell and Evelyn Catching Whitesell. He retired from O'Reilly Auto Parts as a salesman and was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church.
Mr. Whitesell is survived by one brother, Ben Whitesell of Virginia; a daughter, Beth (John) Smith of Johnson City, Tenn.; a son, Bill (Ellie) Whitesell of Knoxville; three grandchildren; and several cousins. His devoted companion, Carol Lyle of Lewisburg, and her three children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 10, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Whitesell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the East Commerce Baptist Building Fund.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
