William E. "Bus" Lowe, 82, of Cornersville, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Lowe was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Sema and Bernice Davis Lowe. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the V.F.W. and Elks Lodge. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Ostella Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Margaret McCollum Lowe; daughter, Patricia Carothers; son, Rick Lowe; and two brothers, Lloyd and Wayne Lowe.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Oliver and Mary Lowe, both of Cornersville; two sons, Kenneth (Brigett) Lowe of New Zealand and Mike (Sharon) Lowe of Cornersville; three sisters, Grace Taylor of Portland, Ore., and Dean Lowe and Nancy Lowe, both of Cornersville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Wednesday until the funeral hour for visitation.
