Mr. Willis Junior Johnson, 76, a lifelong resident of Marshall County, transitioned from his earthly life to his heavenly home on July 24, 2020, after an extended illness. He was a longtime employee at Goodyear Tire and spent his pastime hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Willis Bruce Johnson and mother, Anna Bell Celestine-Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ida Mae Johnson; brother-in-law, George (JoAnn) Peacock; sister, Delores Johnson; brother, Glenn (Sammie) Johnson of Shelbyville, as well as a host of other relatives.

Mr. Johnson’s funeral was held at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home and burial followed at Hills Cemetery in Mooresville.
